1986 Chrysler 5th Avenue V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1986 Chrysler 5th Avenue, It starts & idles fine, but when you give it throttle, it bogs down and starts surging, I put in a new fuel pump, and it didn't change. It has an electronic fuel control system. New fuel filter & air cleaner also tried carb cleaner. There are no adjustment screws on the carb either. Could it be the electronic fuel control unit? Or a sensor? I am at the end of my wits. And pocket book, could you please provide some ideas, or how to troubleshoot?

Hi:

Take the vehicle to a nationally recognized auto parts store and have them run a test on the computer for codes. If there are codes in the computer, they will tell you what it is.

NOTE: Most auto parts stores will do this for free.
