300M-2004- 115,000 miles-3.5L

At 2400 RPM engines surges, bucks and seams to missfire. Can ramp up speed until this point with no problem The engine code said that it was a cam/crank sensor. The sensors have been replaced as well as the spark plugs but the problem still exists. Any ideas?

Is it storing any missfire codes? If not try testing the fuel pump pressure! If it is test the COP's

Fuel pump pressure is OK
Will check COP's
Could it possibly be a faulty MAF sensor?
Has a pronounced "sucking air" sound when the problem occurs.

Only if there is an air leak in the plastic air induction system, any cracks will bypass the MAF! Get some spray gumout and spray around vac lines and manifold if the idle changes, you have a leak! You can test the MAF by unplugging it and going for a short ride, if symtoms improve replace it.
