Have you ever tried to have someone spray the car with a hose while you checked for leaks? Is the weather stripping around the windshield in good condition?

From the picture (which helps / thank you) it looks like the silver part you refered to is a trim and not the weather stripping. If it is made of aluminum, the rubber weather stripping is under it.

Also, when you open the door, you will see a black weather stripping around the door. Make sure it is good and not damaged.

Let me know what you find and thanks for using 2carpros. Com.

I'd like to say the I found out that it was a broken weld maybe from age maybe from accidents I don't know but I fixed it. Under the carpet was the best way to get to both of the corners. In the front.
