2000 Chevy Venture winshield wipers

Lining up the cam after replacing the cover kit on the winshield wipers. We can not line the wipers up. We took off the wiper blades and turned them on let them set to home and then put the blades back on and that didnt work

Same thing happened to me. My husband replaced the thing for the windshield wipers that is on the wiper motor and now my wipers stay in the up position while the wipers are on intermitent, and they rest with right wiper all the way down and the left one slightly above where it needs to be. I have no clue what the difference is, but it hasn't rotated correctly through its cycle since.
