Engine Performance problem
Chevy Van V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 77,000 miles

Engine runs fine until I slow down for a stop or turn, at which time the engine stalls. It starts right back up again when I attempt to restart.

Fuel pump and fuel filter were replaced last year. Ran fine until this week. Went on a trip and ran the gasoline down to 1/8 of a tank. Problem began the next day when driving around town after changing the oil, oil filter, and engine coolant.

Thanks

Hello, didn't see a year or make listed for your van? My first thought would be to check the idle air system, also take the throttle-body off give it a good cleaning, make sure all passages are clear.

Also, you should be able to check your own trouble codes. I believe your still obd1. Any codes might point you in the right direction?
