Transmission problem
1993 Chevy Van V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 235xxx miles

My transmission has a slight leak out of the rear seal but I am sure to keep a check on my transmission fluid level. When I backed out a few times the last few cold days it didn't want to go, so I have been warming the van up. Today I reversed otu of the drive-way just fine, but after that it would not reverse. I check out the other gears. It wouldn't go when I put it in 1st, and when its in drive or overdrive it takesa bit to go, but it still feels like it engages a little, just without the kick it didn have, when I put it in reverse or any setting.

is there a possibility it could be an easier fix? I'm thinking about doing a transmission flush, but I don't know if its forgone at this point.

any suggestions would be amazing.

thanks again.

Its not as bad as that, it may just be the seal since the 1st *low* and reverse gear share the same seal and the same piston, it could be bleading off pressure causing the other gears to have a spot of trouble.
