1995 C3500 with 88K A/T and rear drum brakes. At low RPM(idle) brake pedal would go to the floor and lose power steering. The belt was good and P/S fluid good so I replaced the hydrolic power booster. Since then, same problem. At 1500 RPM or better there are no problems. Should I be looking at the P/S pump next? Ideas?

Truck does not have tilt. I have removed the wiper control and cleaned the contacts. Wiring looks okay. I can not duplicate the problem while stopped. It seems to happen when I have been driving for about 20 minutes.

I also have the problem with the door ajar light coming on when I open the passenger side door. The light will eventually go out after about a minute.

Take some Brakleen and spray in the lower part of the latch and close doors about ten times and then leave doors open to dry that should solve prpblem

The likly culprit is the return line to the pump is kinked or has an internal colapse!
