I have a 1994 1/2 ton Chevy pickup. My wife was driving it for a while. When i went to drive it i backed up and the right rear brake locked up. As it turns out the cylinder was leaking and shooting fluid on the brakes. They over adjusted and locked up. How do I get them to release so I can fix it?

There is a slot in the backing plate that may allow you to back off on the adjusters. Hard to say where the problem is however based on the description. The drum may be seized to the hub also. In which case you can whack the drum between the studs with with a 3- 5 pound hammer to break it free.
