4x4 (cv) question?

I have a 98 chevy blazer w/4x4 and the front right side. the cv boot has a green oil that's splating around the boot? dose it just need a new boot or do i have to replace the whole thing? dont hear any sounds or feel anything from around their while driveing just seen the oil . is that something that normaly go's bad ?

The green oil is really green CV joint grease. have the boot replaced as soon as you can to prevent damage to the joint.
