Chevy rear end "clunk"
Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2008 Chevy Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 34000 miles
Today while driving in 2WD, hit a patch of ice at stop light. As I started off, one rear wheel spun, heard and felt a clunk from rear end. Truck moved off from light. Now when I turn to either side, it seems that both rear wheels are trying to drive forward. The truck seems to "bind" in the turn. What is up? Does it need to go to my dealer? Is it safe to drive?

You're going to need to have the differential checked out. It sounds like one of the clutches are in a bind. If the parts look okay, change the fluid with synthetic gear oil.
