2005 Chevy Truck front axle area making squawking noise

This noise could be coming from either your brakes or your wheel bearings. If its the brakes you'll have to have new brake pads and possible new rotors put on. If it's the wheel bearings you'll have to take it to a mechanic to have that fixed. My guess is it's the brakes since you said it happens when you stop. Hope this helps!
