Does it turn over after it is sitting or does it not even do that? And how long do you have it sitting before it doesn't want to start?

The truck turns over and acts like it wants to start but doesn't catch fire. It seems after a couple of days of sitting in humid wet weather that it doesn't want to start. I can get it to start by removing the coil wire off and then turn the engine over a couple of times and I put the coil wire back on and it starts. The coil ignition is new in the truck.

I'm thinking it might be fuel related. It's possible that you're not getting enough fuel to the cylinders for it to start up and stay running. By taking off the ignition wire and turning over the engine you're letting more fuel get into the cylinders. Then when you put it back on, there is enough fuel for it to ignite and stay running. I would check out the fuel pump.

Well thank you. I do have one question for that though. It runs fine with no problems once it gets running would bad fuel pressure do that. It wont hurt to check the fuel pressure because at this point it could be anything.

Well I don't think so. I have a 1998 chevy truck and at one point my fuel pump was starting to go. It was hard to start after a couple days sitting. One time it didn't start after sitting 2 days. 10 minutes later I got it started (was still hard to start) and it ran fine.
