1998 Chevy Truck wont start

wont start but if i pour a few tablespoons of gas in throttle body it starts but hv to use both feet to keep it runnin,if it dies it wont start back,but if i keep givin gas it will run forever until i take foot off gas pedal

check your fuel pressure first if its not in specs check your fuel filter and your air filter first before any major repairs
