1997 Chevy Truck slight rumble noise

I hear a rumble noise when under acceleration specially when going about 55 MPH ang approaching a hill, and it goes away when down shifting and the RPM's go up.

Hi:
Can you tell aprox. Where the noise is coming from? Could it be irregular tire wear, a transmission noise, dirrerential, exhaust rubbing caused by a broken / damaged motor or trans mount.
