It is a little hard to change it is in a very tight spot. It will rool out of a clip you can unplug it from the wire harness and plug the new one on. I have had to chage out two the replacement swiches are a litttle week in how they are made. They can pop apart partialy and stop working . I fixed this by wrapping it in electrical tape so that it can not seperate. This switch controls brake lights annd cruise control if you have it. It will give you a service engine light if it fails and the cruise control stops working.
