I have a 1996 Chevy K1500 5.7L Z71, yesterday while traveling home on the Highway, i was going aprox. 75-80 mph. The engine just cut off without any warning. I pulled off to the side of the road and all it will do is turn over, no firing. I checked and listened to the fuel pump, and it you can hear it pumping. What could this be?? Possibly a coil issue or disbributor issue?? Please help

Before you replace the module, check to see if you have spark at the plugs. I think that the module is the problem. Make SURE you put the anti heat grease under the module. It takes a 5.5 mm socket to remove the cap. be careful removing the connectors as they get brittle with age especially the brown one. Let me know
