1995 Chevy Truck truck wont start

I have a chevy 1/2 ton v6 4x4 , last fall i went out to start it , and its starter for a breif moment then shut down, checked the spark and no spark , someone told me to check the ignition module inside the distributor, i took it out and took it down to napa to have tested its was bad, so i replaced it , thinking this was the problem, well im still not getting spark, nor gas to the carb , its a throttle body carb, and no display lights in the dash , some say its the computer board , some say its the ignition switch that controls everything on what to do , if it doent get gas , then it wont spark ect , ect , but it turns over just no gas , no spark , i was also told to check the fuseable links supoose;y down by the starter some where , they might be blown , but cant find them , any suggestions without just start replaceing parts ? thamk you
