Engine Mechanical problem
1992 Chevy Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

Cannot get truck to start, it will run when gas is poured into injectors. Fuel is not getting from tank to engine. We have all new parts from the tank forward related to the fuel system, including our second fuel pump. Help!

Did you do any testing before you replaced anything? How is the fuel pressure? Are there any codes?

With TBI can you see the injector/s spray pattern, with the vehicle cranking? Even if the pattern looked ok, you still need to check pressure? You could use a noid lite on the injector plug, see if there is a pulse, with the engine cranking.

You could do some testing at the fuel pump relay connector. Two terminal should be hot with the engine cranking. There should be a fuel pump prime connector close to the relay, if you run B+ to the connector, the pump should run. You don't have to use the key on that test.
