1991 S-10 Pickup exhaust

I have a 2.5 liter 91 chevy s10 and was wondering since I haft to lift the exhaust to keep it from burning my parking brake cable how could I lift it far enough or get around it?

NOt a good idea and besides it's against the law. I think a 10K fine good luck

Just kicking around ideas in my head but how about wrapping your cable in some type of heat resistant material? Maybe like header heat wrap or muffler bandage, something that will take a lot of heat? Seems like that would be cheapest and easiest way to deal with it. Maybe this will give you an angle to go at it. :Roll:
