I removed the shroud behind the steering wheel to replace the wiper switch in my 1991 CK pickup. I'm having trouble getting the actuator rod timed back together with the gear on the back side of the ignition switch. I've gotten it very close, but the cylinder won't lock or go into the accessory position. I'm not sure of just how to position the rod, gear and lock cylinder to re-mesh to get it all back together. I can't seem to find any mention or pictures of the procedure in any manuals. Your immediate help would be greatly appreciated as I need to get back to work!

Hello -

To better assist you please be more specific on your model... Is it a C1500, K2500 etc and what is your engine size in liter?

Also, please give me the 8th digit of your VIN

We will do the best we can here but sometimes the manual isn't specific on this....... But we will certainly try!
