'91 K1500 with many miles, luv it. Runs fine when warm, but having trouble with cold starts, engine won't start off at 1500 warm up like it should, hovers around 800 rpm, takes repeated tries to get started. Service engine soon light on, so ECM has a code for me. How do I read it? Chilton manual pretty useless for help. Is there a plug somewheres? Isn't this vehicle pre OBD I? Short with paper clip and count blinks like on my old '81 cutlass? Winter coming, need my ride dependable pronto. Thanks for your help.
