After repairing an oil leak and fixing the windshield wiper motor, my truck sat for about 4 or 5 days while I was in Kentucky, which is usually no big deal. When I returned and started it up, it was dead cold, so I didn't give a second thought to the high RPM's. But once the truck had warmed, they were still far too high; somewhere around 2000, but I don't have a TAC, so I don't know for sure. I have to fight a little bit with it to stop, and just as it's decelerating to about 10mph, the truck "pumps" (but I can't feel it underneath the pedal) like it's going to stop and then idles back up to slow down like I want it to. While warm, it stills idles like it's cold, essentially. Throttle body sensor? Help.
