I have a 454 backed by a TH400. It doesn't like to shift into 3rd and it doesn't like to stay there. It downshifts way to easy, & won't come out of 2nd until I release the pedal. I am also interested in replacing this tranny with a 700R4. What do I have to know to make this work?
