I have a 69 chevy c10 pickup. I was going down the road and my tach started going crazy, then the engine died and will not restart. Its getting fuel to the carb. Engine will try to start but thats about it

Check if you're getting spark -if not could be power to the coil, the coil itself, ignition contact point, that's if its a conventional distributor and also check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter and fuel pump
