Electrical problem
1963 Chevy Truck 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 0

A friend has rebuilt a chevy pickup from the ground up for me but we have run into a problem that is probably very simple but has us both frustrated. 6 cyl engine rebuilt, all parts either replaced or new. On the day we tried to start it turned over but was not getting fire to the plugs. We had converted to an electronic ignition so thought that was the problem but have since put the old points system back on and still no fire. Starter is good, coil is new and is getting power, but when it gets to the distributor...nothing....Neither of us are great mechanics...obviously...but this should be simple???
any sugestions of where to trouble shoot???

Contact point distributor: If spark is coming out of the coil best check the dizzy cap and rotor it has to go thru there to get to the plugs.

No spark and coil new-check the point gap and condenser
