I have a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer with 96,000 miles with a V6 engine and today when I went to put on the heater, the heater would only go on when I put it all the way up to 5. It would not work on 1-4 settings. I tried this for all the fan types, AC, fan, defroster...etc. What could be causing this and how do I get this fixed? Please help!

Try the blower motor resistor, on the right inside under the dash, by the blower motor. And look at your fuse panel for a blown fuse, the number 5 speed is on a diferent cucuit.
