Is there any detailed pictorials of how to take the fan shroud/fan clutch out. I have to change the water pump, but I cannot seem to get the shroud off. I have see the great resonse by obxautomedic, and I was looking for something along those lines from his post found in the link.

Hello. Instead of removing radiator fan and shroud when replacing water pump on the 4.2L, remove the fan clutch and fan from the water pump, then remove the fan clutch from the fan blade assembly. Gently lower fan clutch (being careful with the hydraulic lines) and leave fan blade assembly in shroud. You now have enough room to R & R water pump. Once water pump is re-installed, have a helper hold up the fan and re-assemble. You will need to tool below to remove the Fan Clutch and fan from water pump....

Thanks so much for the information. I have already removed and replaced the water pump by removing the fan assembly. Your posts are always thorough and much appreciated.
