2002 Chevy Trailblazer GASOLINE SMELL

THERE IS VERY SLITE GASOLINE SMELL ON LEFT SIDE SOMEWHERE. HERE ALMOST DO NOT SMELL IT HOWEVER, AGAIN YOU DO. SHOULD I DO THE FOLOWING:
1. CHECK FOR SLITELY BROKEN GAS LINE?
CKECK GASOLINE FILTER LEAKING AT CONNECTIONS?
OR IS THERE SOMETHING ELSE I SHOLD BE LOOKEN AT? THANK YOU VERY MUCH. CHUCK

I'd check gas cap-- fuel lines under the vehicle and under the hood-- evap system may let fumes escape, check fuel pressure regulator vacuum line, where applicable, for gas. Use a fuel pressure gage, see how fast pressure leaks down, with everything off?
