I have a 96 tahoe 4wd. It has been running fine until today. I drove to the store, and when i left the store and got into the car, it wouldnt start. The guages do not light up like the normally do. I also dont hear the fuel line buzz like normally. The engine spins, but never starts. My headlights work, and the radio still comes on. Im guessing that my ignition is the reason that the gauges aren't lighting up and the fuel pump doesnt do its initial sound when i turn the key. Sometimes i can get the gauges to light up and i hear the fuel line after turning the key frantically for a couple minutes, and when i do, it cranks. But i cant do it every time. but i think its just luck. But I could be wrong, i have no idea. Does anyone know how i could fix this problem?

Have you done any work lately to this tahoe? Even in the past few months.
Specificaly, the fuel pump?
Check the voltage on your battery;and the connections. Sometimes the connections are loose or they are dirty. Take them off and clean them up anyway. Its easy and will elliminate a potential problem.
Let me know what you find. There are many reasons for your problem, I can help you but lets start from the simple and go from there.
