When we hooked a scanner up it read " open injector circuit ". What does that mean and how do you fix it? The code was P0200

1. Clear the DTC with a scan tool
2. Start and idle the engine at the normal operating temp
3. Monitor the misfire current counters (with a scan tool )
4. Any misfire current counters incrementing?
5. Turn OFF the ignition
6. Disconnect the injector which displays the highest number of misfire current counters
7. Turn ON the ignition, with key off
8. Probe the ignition 1volt circuit with a test light that connected to a good ground
9. Does it light up
10. If not, check connector and wiring
11. If it does, connect injector test lamp between the control circuit of the fuel injector
12. Start the engine
13. Does the test lamp flash
14. Does the light lamp remain illuminated

good luck
