2002 Chevy Tahoe steering
Steering problem
2002 Chevy Tahoe V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 133911 miles
when i turn the wheel there is somewhat of a clicking sound. it appears to be coming from the steering column. it doesnt do it unless the vehicle is moving at a moderate rate of speed. i have asked several people and mainly got "i dont know" i did have a friend say it may be the rack and pinion... any idea?

its the intermediate shaft causing it. you can disconnect it from the steering gear about half way down the shaft and move it in and out a few time to get the grease back in the slip yoke. this will usually take care of the problem
