My Tahoe is running great and I hope to drive it for another 100,000 or more. I would like to know what maintenance is NEEDED to keep the car in good shape. I feel that the auto shops want to help you spend your money by suggesting all kinds of maintenance that I am not sure is needed. I don't know much about cars and I don't want to get taken advantage of.

Thanks

Definetely need a tranny flush and filter change. Change rear and front differentail fluid. And the transfercase fluid. Change the oil and oil filter.

Check the brakes, rotors, drums etc. Check wheel bearings for play.

Observe suspention and steering componenets for wear.
