While driving if I allow the fuel level to drop to 1/4 tank and travel up an incline the engine cuts off as if it is starving for fuel. Once the vehicle is back on level ground for approximately 15 minutes the engine will start and run fine, until the next incline. What is the cause for such an incident?

Ok, so low gas tank, ONLY this happens?
If its full of gas it wont do this ?
When you say starving for gas, as if it will
hesitate? Or die as if its out of gas?
Might be your fuel gauge is bad and it reads
lower then it should. So 1/4 tank = empty
As the fuel pump sits about in the middle of the tank.
So up or down, it wouldnt get the fuel / pressure on
less to no gas left.

If it just hesitates, or sometimes loss of all power
but still idles fine, might be fuel pump needing to
be replaced.

MY TRUCK WONT CUT OFF BUT IT HAS TROUBLE PASSING GAS THRU OR SO THAT WHAT IT FEELS LIKE ONLY WHEN IT GOES LES THAN HALF A TANK... THE MORE GAS I HAVE THE BETTER PAASAGE OF GASOLINE SO I WOULD START ON REPLACING THE FUEL FILTER AND THEN THE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR WICH IS LOCATED RIGTH ON TOP OF THE SPARK PLUGS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE
