bought used vehicle 6 months ago and noticed 4 wheel drive not engaging. 2 questions. what could be the problem? and do i have any avenue to take being that i bought this vehicle only 6 months ago from a dealership w/only a 90 day warranty which expired?

If the warranty has expired, the only thing you can try is to say this is the first time you needed it to work. Maybe they'll at least check it for you. However, they may just say the warranty is expired and there is nothing they can do.

As far as the 4wd, have you checked to make sure you are ggetting power to the actuator on the transfer case?
