2000 Chevy Tahoe OIL PRESSURE SWITCH


WHAT ARE THE FUNCTIONS OF THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH AND WHERE IS IT LOCATED?? IS THERE A SENSOR OR SENDING UNIT THAT REGULATES THE OIL PRESSURE??

In General Motors the oil pressure sending unit does 2 things tells you about the oil pressure and also powers the fuel pump as a safety feature in the event of an accident it kills the fuel pump instead of fuel all over the place.

The ol pressure regulates the oil pressure sending unit

No fuel or oil pressure
