Hey Guys, I have a 2000 chevy tahoe, At times it starts to idle ruff and when i accelerate it tends to hessitate. this happens when i first put fuel in and when its wet out, I also live were it gets cold @ snows. Ive Added fuel anti freeze due to the fact that we get water in the fuel from snow met. Could my problem be the fuel filter, roater roter cap?????? it tends to happen more when the roads are wet. LIke something is getting wet?????????? I have the 5.7 california smog motor with runs good when it runs. This has just started happening in the last month. Any feed back on help trying to figure the tahoe out would be a great help. Thank You Bill Cramer.

Hi:
I would start with a tune up if you haven't done one for some time. Plug wires can be the cause or the distributor cap. Make sure there are no vacuum leaks because they can cause it too. I am assuming the check engine light is not on.

Let me know if it helps.
