I stumbled on your website and found someone with an identical problem to mine. My gas guage recently malfunctioned and now often shows empty when its full. Now my engine heat guage is showing max 260 degrees and the red light 'overheated' comes on. I have plenty of coolant and I'm not sure if these are two separate problems. My brother said its the thermostat, but that would mean the gas guage is unrelated which seems unlikely to me. All hoses seem to be connected. Just had an oil change last week. All fluids are full. I see tons of postings on the net for the same issues. Any ideas? The garage can't take me until Monday morning. I am afraid to drive it.
