My tahoe has had three starters in the past week. When I try to start it it makes a whirring sound, like it is not engaging. I sent it to a mechanic to get it replaced the first 2 time, but it is doing the same thing. This time I took the starter off myself so I could see the flywheel, and there are no missing teeth. When the new starters are put on, they star 3-5 times before problem ressumes. Any suggestions?
