1999 Chevy Tahoe miss fire

These engines are famous for your problem. Lets start at the basic problems. Check the spark plugs-plug wires-distributer cap and rotor first--in that order. If you find any of these things defective replace them with A/C Delco parts ONLY! If you find anyother brand of ignition parts replace them. A/C Delco are the only ignition parts that will work properly on your engine. Trust me--been there done that... If your check engine light is on then have the computer scanned and let us know what the code is. Autozone or a place like that will do this for free....
You may or may not find the problem, so be patient and follow a step by step - basic to more complex - trouble shooting process and you will probable find the problem. Realize that this is a common problem with these engines, however the answer is not. Let us know your findings.....
