Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Chevy Tahoe V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I was told the #5 and #7 cylinders on my truck are misfiring. What does that mean and how do I go about fixing the problem? Thanks!

Hello,

It means that those 2 cylinders are not firing like they are suppose to. And that can mean a few different things ca be going on.....

When was your last tune up? If been a while do tune up, Cap, Rotor, Plugs and Wires.

If doesn't fix misfire check the following injectors, injector harnesses, check for vacuum leaks, Idle Air Control Motor (IAC), Feul Pressure and Compression.
