1998 Chevy Tahoe Oil pressure goes to zero at idle after tr

After my Tahoe warms up, whenever I get to a stop light and the truck idles, it starts running rough and the oil pressure gauge goes to zero. What would be the cause of that? Thanks.

first you need to have a mechanical oil pressure test done to see if you are actually losing oil pressure, its quite possible that the oil pressure switch itself is bad causing it to drop to 0 thus shutting down fuel pump volts as a safety.
