Im having problems with my 1998 Chevy Tahoe. After sitting for a little over a week she wont turn over for me. I added some HEET in case of moisture in the fuel and still no dice. When I turn the key I get a good strong crank and after say.. 5 seconds or so I can definitly smell fuel. Also, after releasing the key sometimes the engine will shudder once or twice. Hope that's enough information to get a lead on a fix, just replaced spark plugs and dist cap, wires etc. so I know that that is not the issue. The truck did have an ODB II misfire for a single cylinder (5) that was setting my check engine light on... after warming up the truck the misfire count would fall to 0, in fact only at idle did the cylinder misfire.. just revving to 2000 rpm or so would stop the misfires. Apparently the fix to that was a thorough fuel injector cleaning that I havent got done yet. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance for the time!
