Its the linkage under the cowl that is bad. The bering on passenger bside is wobly so bad bering or arm? Can I repair my self or should I take to shop? Thanks

I don't know what you are comfortable with. All that is really required is to remove the wiper arms, then the cowl (part at base of windshield), then you will gain access to the components. Really, I can't think of any specal tools that are required. The only thing that may help you is to purchase a repair manual for your truck at the local parts store. It will provide step by step instructions, and pictures to help identify parts. Also, and don't quote me, if you go to an Auto Zone and ask for a print out of the system. I tried to get it for you but can't.
