1996 Chevy Tahoe high frequency vibration in accelarator pe

I get a high frequency vibration in accelarator pedal
when I first take off at about 1200 rpm and also
while driving about 35 to 40 mph

what might be causing this

How many hertz is the frequency? -------------
Just kidding, It sounds like a universal joint problem or a differential pinion bearing problem. 187000 miles --- probably both. Check the brake rotors for warpage also, but I doubt this is the problem. A warped brake rotor will act like this all the time.
