Have a 1996 Chevy Tahoe. About 6 months ago, the motor would not always start on first crank, then after some time 2 or more cranks needed. SES light came on indicating MAP sensor failure so it was replaced. However starting got worse. Replaced the Fuel pressure regulator - didn't help. Finally stopped starting at all. Purchased meter and realized feul pump was at 40psi so changed out the fuel pump. Starts on first or second attempt, but now wants to stall when coming to a stop or when turning on the defrost or air conditioner. Is there a sensor or switch that will adjust the RPMs when there is a load added such as ABS, defrost and air?
