Out of nowhere this week, my tail light illumination goes out. No real rhyme or reason. Ive got brake, reverse, turn and hazard. I've checked all fuses and rear bulbs. All good there. The only other thing that has happened recently is my brake pedal has hardened up. I suspect the brake booster is going out. I don't think one thing has anything to do with the other.. Maybe I m wrong. What am I missing?????

Hi wannabemechanic,

Test for current supply to rear taillights, if none present, then check switch source. the switch might be giving problem.

If the brake booster has a vacumn leakage, it would harden up.

Both shoud not be related.
