I bought a 1995 tahoe a year ago. Since buying it. I have replaced the spark plugs, fuel pump, installed a rebuilt engine, a new transmission, and fuel injectors. I had thought this would be sufficient enough to supply me with a smooth operating vehicle but problems keep occuring. When driving for a while the car seems to jerk like im pumping the gas and hitting the brakes. It doesnt shut off ever just feels like its struggling. Last time I took it to a dealer they said something was sticking. They ran some top engine cleaner through it and it ran smooth for about 5 days. I assumed at first this was a fuel injector problem but after having replaced that I now know I was wrong. Is this a problem yall can diagnose?

Wow you've spent a ton of money on this truck. It's also tough to diagnose without the vehicle. But try cleaning the throttle body on this. Use some choke ceaner nd clean both sides so any built up oil is taken off of the plate. The replacethe fuel filter and when all that is done, put a vacuum guage on it and see what your vacuum is. If itis around 15" at idle i'd suspect that your convertercould be plugged or partially plugged. Also when you clean the throttle plate try cleaning the tps switch on the side, it may be sticking and not letting the computer read right. One other thing you might check is the air duct from the air cleaner to the throttleplate. If there are any holes in it try putting tape over them temporarily as it will screw the maf sensor up with a hole in it.
