CHEVY AIR CONDITIONER ISN'T COOL

1995 Chevrolet Tahoe

Air Conditioning problem
1995 Chevy Tahoe V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 144, 00 miles

We added freon to the air conditioner on my Tahoe but I think it is leaking somewhere probably on a hose or fitting. Is there an easy way to find the leak so I can pinpoint it and repair it without having to keep replacing things and ending up spending so much? I have heard there something that has a bright color that you an add that will show the leak. I can't seem to find it at the auto parts stores and the employees there look at me like I have a scew loose. Please help : ) Thank you

One of two basic ways to do this.

1.) Charge the system with refrigerant containing a tracer dye, then use an ultraviolet lamp to find the dye at the leak point.

OR

2.) Use an electronic leak detector, commonly called a 'sniffer' to find the leak.
