Guys,
I replaced the compressor, receiver/dryer and orifice tube few months ago. Also flushed the system and put the required amount of oil and R-134a back in. No leaks and plenty of refrigerant in the system. The front A/C works great but the rear does not. Good airflow in the back and the fan works 4.0. The rear condenser is not getting cold, it seems as though no refrigerant is making it's way back there. Is there a second orifice tube for the back that I don't know about? What would prevent refrigerant from getting back there? The line that goes to the back is warm (ambient temp) to the touch the whole way.

I searched the archives and none seemed to match. Thanks
Mark

did the orfice tube have a bunch of metal shavings and junk stuck in it? If so the rear expansion valve can get clogged up also.
