The fan is intermittently working. It seems that the automatic temperature sensors are working and try to tell the fan to blow faster and is not able. Sometimes it will blow just on level one and other times it will kick up to a higher speed but it no longer runs like it used to. I am wondering if this is bad breaker or switch, maybe an easy fix. Thanks for the help

UPDATE: The AC seems to be working better now, but it does not blow on the highest level and seems to be much slower at the changing of temperature. A couple times, the car was turn off and the key was off the ignition and the AC was still blowing even though I had already open the driver side door. Weird, uhh! I think it some kind of bad breaker. Help.

Hi Mucino,

Thank you for the donation.

I need to know if your vehicle has Auto HVAC or Manual HVAC.

Do you mean to say at highest speed the blower does not blow at all?

Try increasing and decreasing the speed repeatedly a few times and see if there are any changes.

The suburban has the Auto HVAC. A new thing happened today. It was quite hot today and when I got into the car, the Auto temperature attempted to turn the AC on but it did not come on. It seems that the computer thinks that the fan is working but it is not. I have a feeling that it some kind of breaker or switch that when bad. What do you think? Also, thanks for the quick response.

Hi Mucino,

Do you mean to say the compressor is engaging but the blower motor is not working?

I believe either the blower motor or its resistor is faulty.

Remove the resistor and test for continuity.

This is for C1500, if it is not the correct one, please provide the correct vehicle model.
